Job summary

FedEx is seeking a hands-on operations associate to ensure safe and efficient movement of packages and pallets. The role involves operating equipment for heavyweight freight and dangerous goods, assisting in pallet buildup and breakdown, and liaising with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

Other duties may be assigned as required. Eligible candidates possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to work in all weather conditions, with the capacity to communicate effectively in a noisy

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level and maneuver heavy packages using equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk and stand for full shift hours and to bend/squat as needed.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.
• Ability to operate in all weather conditions at the work location.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and dangerous goods.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
