Job summary

FedEx Group in Portland, ME seeks personnel to operate equipment safely for moving packages and documents, including heavyweight freight and ULDs. The role includes assisting in pallet buildup/breakdown and acting as liaison with an ULD repair vendor when needed.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level and maneuver packages above 50 lbs. using equipment or assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
