Job summary

FedEx is seeking a position open for a role involving the safe operation of equipment used to move packages, documents, and heavyweight freight. The role includes assisting in pallet buildup/breakdown and liaising with ULD repair vendors as needed.

You will perform additional duties as assigned and work under conditions requiring alertness and safe practices in a noisy operations environment. Shift 1: Mon to Fri - 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs or ladders if required.
• Able to complete basic and recurring training.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
