Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is seeking a reliable Material Handler to operate forklifts and move parts across the plant, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate inventories.

You will follow safety rules, read work instructions, and support shift-based production needs, including loading/unloading, weighing materials, and preparing shipments. HS diploma or GED, 1 month experience, and ability to work up to 12 hours daily are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and work instructions.
• One month related experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observes and complies with safety, environmental, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Moves levers and operates forklift to transport pallets and materials within the plant.
• Unloads, stacks, and inventories materials on the work floor, supplying materials as needed.
• Weighs materials and records data on tags or schedules; loads/unloads materials to designated areas.
• Supports plant flow and on-time delivery by efficient material handling.
