Job summary

FedEx in Raleigh seeks team members for safe operation of equipment moving packages, documents, and heavy freight. You will assist with pallet buildup and breakdown and act as a liaison with the ULD repair vendor as needed. Other duties may be assigned to support daily operations.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in all weather conditions, and communicate clearly in a noisy environment. Valid driver’s license may be required for motorized conveyances.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
