Job summary

FedEx is seeking a warehouse operations associate in Florida to safely operate equipment used to move packages, documents, and heavyweight freight. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in varied weather and noisy conditions.

Responsibilities include assisting in pallet buildup/breakdown, coordinating with contractors as needed, and maintaining safe procedures while ensuring timely package movement. A valid driver's license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
