Job summary

FedEx is seeking personnel to operate equipment safely for moving packages, documents, and heavyweight freight at the San Francisco location. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown and coordinate with ULD repair vendors when needed.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift heavy weights, and the capacity to work in a noisy operational environment. A valid driver’s license is required, and safety screenings apply.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated hours.
• Able to bend, squat, and maneuver packages in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
