Job summary

FedEx in Dallas, TX seeks a package handler to operate equipment safely for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and ULDs. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown and liaise with the ULD repair vendor as required.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, walking and standing for long hours, bending and squatting, and the ability to climb stairs or ladders if needed. A drug screen and valid state driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
