Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking personnel to safely operate equipment used to move packages and heavy freight. The role includes pallet buildup/breakdown, liaison with a ULD repair vendor, and other duties as assigned.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, maneuver heavy packages, and work in a noisy environment. A valid driver’s license and drug screen are required; shifts vary, including early morning/evening options.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages in enclosed spaces and stack as required.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs/ladders as needed.
• Must communicate timely and effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight freight.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
