Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler in the Production department. The role involves unloading donations, sorting goods, and moving items to production areas, with a pay rate of $17.13/hour. Candidates should be ready to maintain a safe, efficient workflow in an outdoors/warehouse environment.

High school diploma preferred, no prior experience required. Forklift certification is optional per Seattle Goodwill standards and may be required if you operate heavy

Qualifications

• Education requirement includes high school or equivalency; no experience is required.
• Certification in forklift operation may be applicable per Seattle Goodwill standards.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Provide a smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Operate cardboard compactors and identify problems.
• Maintain donor tallies and a clean work environment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and report hazards.
• Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Perform duties related to forklift operation if certified.
