Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations and move goods to the appropriate production areas. The role operates in outdoor and warehouse environments with varying temperatures and dust exposure.

You will sort donations, maintain donor tallies and ensure a smooth flow of materials to the production floor. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, no experience, and you must be 18 or older; forklift certification is optional and

Responsibilities

• Remove and sort salvage material from salable goods.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Provide a smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Maintain donor tallies and a clean work area.
• Operate cardboard compactors and report issues.
• Communicate with coworkers and managers, including those with limited English.
