Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington seeks a Material Handler in Burien, WA. The role unloads donations, moves goods to production areas, and supports a smooth flow of items to the production floor. It is outdoors/warehouse with varying temperatures and dusty conditions.

Pay rate is $21.63 per hour. The position requires high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), at least 18 years old, and may involve forklift operation if certified to Seattle Goodwill standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• Seattle Goodwill forklift certification optional, must meet eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Maintain a clean work environment and safety practices.
• Operate forklift where certified per Seattle Goodwill standards.
• Maintain donor tallies and support smooth flow to production.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, including those with limited English.
