Job summary

Responsibilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product, customer's product, and supplies according to inventory plan.
• Selects product to fill customer orders and packages them properly.
• Loads and unloads trucks; verifies correct items are loaded/unloaded.
• Performs picking, processing and packing; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Completes cycle counts and documents as required.
• Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
• Maintains clean work area and adheres to safety rules.

We are looking for a Material Handler to support our new warehouse in Grand Rapids, MI. 1st shift pay up to $25.00 per hourKey Accountabilities:Accurately removes and stocks product, customer's product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.Completes cycle Counts.Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.Performs general clean up.Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
