The Material Handler performs a wide range of shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities in a clean and organized aerospace machine shop environment. This role prepares items for shipment using cost-effective courier services, maintains accurate records of materials in inventory and on order, and monitors reorder points to ensure timely replenishment of stock. The position also supports and may lead the work of shipping and receiving personnel, reconciles inventory discrepancies, and promptly reports irregularities to supervision.

The role is based in a clean, organized aerospace machine shop and warehouse setting that emphasizes safety, precision, and efficiency. Employees work with industrial band saws, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling and production equipment, as well as computer systems using Internet Explorer, Word, and Excel for documentation and inventory tracking. The training schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime available for those who want it, depending on business needs. The facility maintains a professional, well-ordered environment suited to aerospace manufacturing and material handling activities.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, WA.
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
