Job summary

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in Hillsboro, OR to fill Material Handler positions. This role offers growth opportunities within a winning culture and access to Adecco perks.

Responsibilities include order fulfillment, receiving, and equipment operation; requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of warehouse experience. Pay is $20 per hour with Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and work at varying heights; forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency including ERP systems (QAD preferred), Outlook, and shipping software.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 45 lbs, and work in varying temperatures with flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment and inventory handling for shipments.
• Receiving and verification of incoming shipments and documentation.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment in different temperature zones.

Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment & Inventory Handling – Pick, pack, sort, store, and prepare materials and finished goods for shipment while ensuring order accuracy and quality standards.
• Receiving & Verification – Receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, verify quantities and documentation, and accurately process inventory transactions.
• Warehouse Equipment Operation – Safely operate warehouse equipment such as stand-up forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks to move and store products.
• Warehouse Compliance & Safety – Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow company procedures while working in room temperature, cold-room, and freezer environments.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or inventory control experience.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and work comfortably at various heights; forklift and order picker experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, including ERP systems (QAD preferred), Outlook, and shipping software.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 45 lbs., work in varying temperature environments, and support flexible schedules, shifts, and overtime as needed.

Pay Details:

$20.00 per hour
