Are you experienced in warehouse operations, forklift driving, or shipping and receiving? We are seeking dependable Material Handlers to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment by ensuring the efficient movement of materials, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery of products throughout the facility.
This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a team-driven production environment.
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, transporting, and distributing raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility. This position supports production operations through inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, forklift operation, and material movement while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and accuracy.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
Load and unload trailers, trucks, and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines based on work orders and production schedules.
Process shipping and receiving transactions using RF scanners and inventory management systems.
Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and transaction verification.
Store materials in designated warehouse and production locations while maintaining proper labeling and identification.
Prepare outbound shipments and ensure materials are packaged and staged correctly.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and material transactions.
Support warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on safety, productivity, and efficiency.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum one (1) year of material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
Previous forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred.
Experience loading and unloading trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Experience with shipping and receiving processes, inventory control, and material movement.
Familiarity with RF scanners, barcode scanners, and warehouse management systems preferred.
Basic computer skills required.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, inventory documents, and shipping paperwork.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing business needs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, move, push, and pull materials weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment for extended periods.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Comfortable using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
Excellent attendance record and dependable work ethic.
