Job Description

Maintain proper stock controls by performing manual and clerical tasks involved in receiving, preparation and stocking, issuing, shipping, physical inventory, disposition, control and protection of company and government property. Support and suggest remedial actions to prevent or resolve discrepancies. Operate lift trucks and various gasoline and/or electric powered trucks and trackless trains throughout the factory areas. Control (maintain, update, sort, file, record, and issue) engineering, technical, and military documents.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Standing/Sitting: Full-time standing with limited resting periods; may sit for extended periods.
• Heights: Able to work at heights, climb stairs or ladders, and work off step stools, scissor lifts, or aircraft structures without handrails.
• Overhead work: Capable of working overhead as required.
• Weight: Able to lift/push/pull/carry at least 25 lbs.
• Body positioning: Able to twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, and reach.
• Manual dexterity: Manipulate small tools and parts; perform repetitive tasks and use vibrating tools.
• Vision/Hearing: High hand/eye coordination; may require corrective lenses, eye protection, and the ability to differentiate colors.
• Environmental: Able to work around noise, chemicals, fumes, dust, and outdoors if needed. Use respirators and hearing protection as required.
• Attendance: Regular attendance and ability to work any shift.
• Operation of vehicles and equipment: Able to operate machinery and work around heavy equipment.
