The Opportunity:

1. Direct and verify inbound shipments of raw materials to designated locations.
2. Monitor inventory levels and ensure General Supply Orders are complete and accurate.
3. Oversee the creation and attachment of pallet tags for material identification.
4. Record and acknowledge the location of materials in the system.
5. Optimize stock locations continuously and organize overstock to designated areas.
6. Monitor and maintain stock retrieval processes as needed.
7. Ensure Amazon B2B scans and shipments are processed in the UPS system.
8. Oversee outbound shipments.
9. Conduct cycle counts and full inventory counts as required, collaborating with Inventory analysts for reconciliation.
10. Organize and verify staging areas are stocked and materials are properly marked and flagged.
11. Verify accuracy and completeness of inspection and shift reports.
12. Communicate instructions to each shift and assign daily duties to team members.
13. Lead team meetings as necessary and maintain daily shipping schedules.
14. Enter daily production reports and serve as backup for the Shipping Clerk when needed.
15. Collaborate with other department leads and supervisors on order tracking and requirements.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:

1. Operate heavy material handling machinery (electric pallet jack, forklift, reach truck) with certification.
2. Read and write instructions, correspondence, safety rules, operating manuals, and procedural documents.
3. Audit current procedures and policies for compliance and improvement.
4. Apply basic mathematical skills.
5. Conduct daily safety and shift walkthroughs.
6. Utilize Microsoft Office for research, data entry, email correspondence, and documentation.
7. Work scheduled hours and overtime as needed, especially during busy periods.
8. Perform all essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
