Adecco is hiring immediately for a Material Handler at an aviation facility in Grapevine, TX near DFW Airport. This temp-to-hire position requires a resume and prefers forklift experience on a Lift (or willingness to train). Monday-Friday 7AM-4:00PM; pay is $18.

The Material Handler will manage receipt, inspection, storage, packaging, shipping, and certification of airline engine parts, following ISO/ASA standards and quality controls.

Qualificações

• At least 2 years of logistics or relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Verifies that all incoming or outgoing parts comply with ISO 9001:2015, ASA-100, and quality standards.
• Visually inspects materials and matches part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities.
• Attaches identification data and inputs part history into the database.
• Records reasons for material rejection and ensures trace documentation is present.
• Provides material certification forms confirming conformance to specs.
• Assists loading/unloading and packaging/unpacking shipments.
• Responds to internal and external customer requirements and engages customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Objective

The Material Handler will complete job activities with limited difficulty involving the receipt, inspection, storage, packaging, shipping and certification of commercial airline engine parts and components. In this role you will work and follow processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in operational projects, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

1. Verifies that all incoming or outgoing parts/materials/components comply with ISO 9001:2015 International Standard, the Aviation Suppliers Association Quality System Standard ASA-100, and Materials quality standards.

2. Visually examines materials and accompanying paperwork for defects and sorts of articles according to extent of defect. Accurately identifies part numbers, serial numbers and quantities and assures all match the accompanying paperwork.

3. Attaches identification data onto article, and inputs required part history/part data into the local database.

4. Records factors causing materials to be rejected. Verifies all required trace documentation is present.

5. Provides material certification form verifying that the standard part(s) conform to established industry or United States specifications.

6. Assists in the loading/unloading and packaging/unpacking of outgoing/incoming shipments.

7. Answers both internal and external customer requirements. Actively engages customers in both digital and interpersonal settings.

8. Performs other job duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

1. High school diploma, or GED

2. At least 2 years of logistics or relevant experience

Work Environment

This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
