Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring a General Warehouse Associate – Material Handler for our facility in Brea, CA. The role requires operating sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move inventory, assist with receiving and packing, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

You will lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand and move for 8+ hours, and work the 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM shift with overtime as needed. This is a full-time, immediate hire opportunity with benefits through Kelly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on forklift and EPJ experience.
• Able to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks to transport, load, unload, and stage inventory.
• Assist across warehouse with receiving, order selection, packing, staging, and general upkeep.

Overview

We are looking for dependable General Warehouse Associates to join our team immediately. In this role, you will assist across various departments in the warehouse—moving materials, operating equipment, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit‑down forklifts and electric pallet jacks (EPJ) to transport, load, unload, and stage inventory.
• Assist throughout the warehouse with receiving, order selection, packing, staging, and general facility upkeep as needed.
• Manually load and unload freight, pallets, and containers.
• Conduct daily pre‑operational safety inspections on assigned equipment.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and OSHA‑compliant work area.
• Support other cross‑functional warehouse tasks directed by supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience operating a sit‑down forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Physical Capability:
• Ability to comfortably lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods (8+ hours).
• Schedule: Punctual and reliable for the 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM shift, with availability for overtime during peak volumes.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
