Job summary

Envista's DEXIS facility in Quakertown, PA is hiring a Material Handler to manage packing, shipping, and material handling operations. You will process outbound shipments, maintain documentation, and collaborate with manufacturing for transactional accuracy.

A friendly and open atmosphere helps to foster strong personal and professional relationships across the organization.Position SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for a wide range of material handling, inventory control, andshipping and receiving activities. This role supports efficient receiver, packing and shippingoperations while maintaining strict safety, quality, and 5S standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Work in a scheduled rotation of packers and shippers to ensure all daily packing andshipping requirements are met• Package and prepare spare parts and dental equipment for shipment using standardizedmethods• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate logistics for outbound shipments andreturns• Route outgoing shipments through approved truckers and freight forwarders• Assemble and maintain shipping documentation to provide proof of shipment, includingtracking and shipment history, for internal and external customers upon request• Post orders and shipping information daily using SAP• Collaborate with manufacturing team members to ensure transactional accuracy• Provide freight rate information to the customer service department• Prepare boxes, skids, and pallets with appropriate labels and documentation as required• Review open customer orders to efficiently meet shipping schedules and requested shipdates• Receive and RMA process all incoming materials, including production materials, RMAs,NCP, PPAP, and non-inventory itemsVerify packing slips, purchase orders, revision levels, and physical goods in accordancewith work instructions• Ensure all received materials are put away within 24 hours in designated, segregatedstorage locations• Pick parts and deliver materials to packing areas as required• Trigger electronic Kanban transactions in SAP• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goalsJob requirementsMost Important CompetenciesLicensed Driver: Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standingPunctuality: Ability to complete work in a timely manner with a strong commitment to meeting deadlinesTeamwork: Ability to work cooperatively with others while serving internal and external customersCommunication: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal formatsAttention to Detail: Ability to follow written and visual instructions to ensure received materials meet quality standardsQualificationsWillingness and ability to be trained and certified to operate a forkliftWillingness and ability to work overtime as needed, often with limited noticeBasic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office applicationsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 1 year of shipping and receiver experience requiredMinimum of 1 year of SAP experience preferredPrevious logistics experience preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 35 pounds independently and assist with lifts of 35–50 poundsAbility to push or pull containers using pallet jacksFrequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movementsOccasional overhead liftingAbility to stand at a workstation for extended periods of time#LI-TP1IND123Target Market Salary Range:Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
