Kelly Services in Billerica, MA is hiring a Material Coordinator II to manage material flow for production. The role supports inventory integrity, plastic consolidation, and safe handling of materials in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of experience in a stockroom or manufacturing setting. Proficiency with SAP, M2M, and MS Office is expected. Shift is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with benefits and training included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing, or materials environment preferred.
• Understand how Materials supports Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Receiving, and Shipping.
• Familiar with ERP and inventory management systems (including M2M and SAP) for routine transactions.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Locate, audit, transfer, and stage materials or kits to support production.
• Perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Pick orders according to the kitting tracker.
• Organize and maintain stockroom locations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist management in controlling excess inventory through relocation or disposal.
• Prepare materials for delivery into cleanroom environments per procedures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (when certified).
• Follow safety policies, quality standards, and documented processes.
• Train and assist other Material Coordinators as assigned.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job description

We are seeking a Material Coordinator II to work at a premier manufacturing client in Billerica, MA.

Pay Rate: $24/hour

Shift: 8Hr Day (8AM - 4:30PM) Mon. – Fri

Responsibilities:

• Locating, auditing, transferring, and staging materials or kits to support production.
• Performing cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Picking orders according to the kitting tracker.
• Organizing, consolidating, and maintaining stockroom locations to improve efficiency and inventory accuracy.
• Assisting management in controlling excess inventory through relocation, consolidation, or disposal.
• Preparing and regulating materials for delivery into cleanroom environments per procedures.
• Operating powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks (when certified and authorized).
• Following all company safety policies, quality standards, and documented business processes.
• Training and assisting other Material Coordinators as assigned.
• Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Bring 1-2 years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing, or materials environment (preferred).
• Understand how the Materials department supports other operational functions such as Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Receiving, and Shipping.
• Are skilled in using ERP and inventory management systems (including Made 2 Manage (M2M) and SAP) for routine inventory transactions.
• Have basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of stockroom operations, inventory control, and material handling procedures.
