Kelly Services is seeking a Material Handling Specialist in Billerica, MA to support a premier manufacturing client. The role is a full-time, on-site position with a day shift and a pay rate of $24.00 per hour.

The responsibilities include material staging, inventory control, order picking, and safety compliance. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems like M2M and SAP is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing, or materials environment preferred.
• Knowledge of stockroom operations, inventory control, and material handling procedures.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Familiarity with ERP/inventory systems such as Made 2 Manage (M2M) and SAP.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift materials.
• Comfort with manufacturing environments, tools, and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Locate, audit, transfer, and stage materials or kits to support production.
• Perform cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Pick orders according to the kitting tracker.
• Organize and maximize stockroom locations for accuracy and storage capacity.
• Assist management in controlling excess inventory and relocate/consolidate as directed.
• Prepare materials for delivery into cleanroom environments per procedures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) when certified.
• Adhere to safety policies, quality standards, and processes.
• Train and assist other Material Coordinators as assigned.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Kelly Services is seeking a Material Handling Specialist to work at a premier manufacturing client in Billerica, MA.

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Shift: 8Hr Day (8AM - 4:30PM) Mon – Fri

Job Duties:

• Locating, auditing, transferring, and staging materials or kits to support production

• Performing cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies

• Picking orders according to the kitting tracker

• Organizing, consolidating, and maintaining stockroom locations to improve inventory accuracy and maximize storage capacity

• Assisting management in controlling excess inventory by relocating, consolidating, or disposing of material as directed

• Preparing and regulating materials for delivery into cleanroom environments while following applicable procedures

• Operating powered industrial equipment, including pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks (when certified and authorized)

• Following all company safety policies, quality standards, and documented business processes

• Training and assisting other Material Coordinators as assigned

• Performing other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Have a High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Have one to two years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing, or materials environment (preferred)

• Demonstrate working knowledge of stockroom operations, inventory control, and material handling procedures

• Are proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Are familiar with ERP and inventory management systems such as Made 2 Manage (M2M) and SAP

• Can stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, reach, climb stairs/ladders, and lift materials

• Are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying noise levels and using hand/power tools and equipment

• Are able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required (coveralls, hoods, boot covers, gloves, safety glasses, respirators, chemical aprons, face shields, etc.)
