Job summary

Warner Music Group is seeking a Temp, Archive Sourcing Coordinator to join our North Hollywood team. This on-site role supports protecting, preserving, and producing master tapes for iconic albums and rarities.

You will work with librarians and engineers, handle tapes, and ensure accurate metadata and packaging details across archive workflows. The role emphasizes attention to detail, problem solving, and collaboration within an established archival department.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented mindset and meticulous approach to archival work.
  • Strong problem solving skills and proactive initiative in handling issues.
  • Good composure and interpersonal savvy for collaboration with librarians and vendors.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Service orientation and customer focus when coordinating with archive partners.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper tapes are archived for a given release.
  • Locate final product and verify that all metadata matches tapes pulled.
  • Create Archive Packing Lists with Artist, Title, Label, Sel #, Track Titles, Source File #, etc.
  • Update the Transfer Tracker for current production requests (date sent, destination, due date).
  • Schedule pickups of archive supplies and tapes and address sourcing issues with vendors.
  • Correct errors in the MLS database based on research and vendor input.
  • Assist non-archive librarians as needed.
