Job summary

Jim 'N Nick's Community BBQ is seeking a skilled pitmaster to own the pit and meat operation, running our smokers with expertise and consistency. You will cut and portion to spec and monitor the quality of every pound leaving your station.

You will manage inventory and food waste in the pit and meat area, follow procedures, and uphold safety and sanitation as the brand relies on the quality you produce.

Qualifications

• Experience as pitmaster, meat cutter, line cook, expediter, or prep cook is required.
• Disciplined, consistent, and proud of the craft.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Own the pit and meat operation; run smokers with skill and consistency.
• Cut and portion to spec, monitor quality of every pound.
• Manage inventory and food waste in the pit/meat area.
• Follow SOPs and uphold safety and sanitation.
