Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Lounge Bartender to deliver an outstanding guest experience at the bar, leveraging mixology skills and entertaining flair. You will craft cocktails, engage guests, and maintain a clean, organized station while upholding health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include beverage preparation, menu knowledge, customer interaction, presentation, bar setup, cash handling, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender or in hospitality preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and beverage presentation.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and active listening skills.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation: mix and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks per recipes.
• Menu Knowledge: know ingredients, flavors, and presentation; make recommendations.
• Customer Interaction: greet guests, take orders, and provide personalized service.
• Presentation: ensure drinks look appealing with proper garnishes and glassware.
• Bar Setup and Maintenance: keep bar stocked, clean, and organized throughout shift.
• Cash Handling: process payments, manage tabs, and provide accurate change.
• Entertainment and Engagement: create a lively atmosphere and offer suggestions.
• Inventory Management: monitor stock and report shortages.
• Compliance: verify ages and refuse service to underage or intoxicated individuals.
