Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an automotive Master Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles across a variety of brands. You will handle engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and onboard computers with limited supervision, contributing to safe, reliable vehicles for customers.

You must have at least 3 years of professional auto repair experience, 3+ ASE certifications (and pursue 2 more within a year), a full tool set, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3).
• Ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site presence required; position cannot be performed remotely.
• Previous OEM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of vehicle makes and models with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, electrical systems, heating/air conditioning, and onboard computer systems.
• Work on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles across multiple brands; may serve as a technical resource for other technicians.
• Contribute to vehicle reliability, safety, and availability to support the customer experience.
