Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Master Level Diesel Technician in Escondido, California, offering weekly pay and excellent benefits. The role requires CDL and diesel repair experience, with a first shift from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm and Monday–Friday schedule. Competitive hourly pay of $43.29 and skill-based bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of automotive engines including diagnostic work.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Replaces defective components and works unsupervised on most tasks.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue and documents work performed.
