Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Escondido, CA is seeking a Senior Level Diesel Technician to service heavy‑duty vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with emphasis on safety and reliability, in a supportive team with weekly pay and paid training.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent, CDL A or B, and 2+ years of heavy/medium duty experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, first shift 5:30 am–2:00 pm, with a quarterly bonus and tool/boot allowances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Vocational/technical certifications preferred.
• Two+ years of heavy/medium duty experience preferred.
• CDL A or B preferred.
• Basic tools required.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair tasks including preventive maintenance and standard diagnostics.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Repairs components and replaces defective parts under supervision or independently.
• Interacts with drivers to determine maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Maintains documentation and complies with safety, DOT, and company policies.
