Job summary

Paris Baguette is seeking a diligent Baker to join a fast-paced bakery café team. You will manage donuts, pastries, and breads, ensuring quality, hygiene, and timely production.

The role requires strong teamwork and strict adherence to food safety practices within a bustling kitchen environment. Responsibilities include baking desserts, maintaining sanitation, managing supplies, and coordinating with supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food production process and sanitation.
• Knowledge of food producing techniques and nutrition/safety practices.
• Food safety, labeling, and related knowledge (FDA).
• Confectionery/foods major recommended.
• Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fry donuts, apply toppings, and decorate pastries and bread.
• Run kitchen operations and production tasks.
• Bake recipes and prepare all desserts.
• Perform general oven duties and dough checks.
• Prepare materials and ingredients as needed.
• Scale and shape breads, loaves, and pastries.
• Maintain sanitation and clean workstations.
• Ensure safe and hygienic workplace for staff and guests.
• Receive, stock, and store food properly.
• Report equipment issues and low supplies to supervisors.
• Complete production, usage, and waste reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
