Job summary

Ghoman Hotels and Resorts LLC is seeking a Hotel General Manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Carmel, IN. The role requires Marriott-brand leadership to drive daily operations, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.

Strong budgeting, revenue management, and team leadership are essential to elevate profitability and guest experiences. The ideal candidate must have Marriott hotel management experience, a proven ability to lead multiple departments, and a strategic focus on service

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in a Hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager role.
• Mandatory experience managing a Marriott-branded hotel.
• Experience with Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, or other Marriott properties is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in hotel operations, budgeting, revenue management, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure Marriott brand standards, company policies, and SOPs.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate department heads for efficient operations.
• Conduct regular management meetings to review performance and set departmental goals.
• Monitor service quality and guest experience across departments.
• Address guest complaints promptly and implement service recovery strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets; review financials and expenses.
• Implement revenue management strategies including pricing, inventory, and yield optimization.
• Prepare monthly financial and operational reports for ownership and leadership.
