Job summary

The Ghoman Group is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager for a Marriott-branded property. The role requires extensive hotel leadership, strong financial oversight, and a proven track record in revenue growth and guest satisfaction. Marriott experience is mandatory.

Based at the Marriott Chicago Northwest area, the GM will oversee operations, budgeting, strategy, and vendor management while driving service excellence and profitability.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years in hospitality, with 5-10 years as GM or AGM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations in accordance with standards.
• Lead meetings with department heads.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and service standards.
• Lead renovations, capital projects, and service improvements.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery.
• Develop and execute operating budgets, marketing plans, and capital budgets.
• Manage profitability while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Analyze P&L and make data-driven decisions.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts for Rooms, F&B, and Admin.
