Job summary

The Ghoman Group is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead daily operations at a Holiday Inn Express location in Indianapolis, IN. The GM will drive performance, supervise department heads, and ensure top-quality guest service and financial results.

Candidates should have extensive hotel experience, a university degree in hotel management, and a track record of managing budgets, capital projects, and staffing in luxury or international settings.

Qualifications

• University degree in hotel management or related field with experience opening, managing, or repositioning a hotel.
• Excellent computer system skills.
• At least 15–20 years in hospitality, with luxury and international experience, plus 5–10 years as GM or Asst. GM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations per organizational chart.
• Lead regular briefings with department heads.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Drive profitability and manage operating budgets and capital budgets.
• Monitor revenue, guest satisfaction, and cost control targets.
• Coordinate with department heads daily and supervise the executive team.
• Lead hiring decisions for key staff and manage vendor relationships.
• Develop long-term strategic plans and ensure audit readiness.
