Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising a group of 8–13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social growth in a family-like setting.

The role requires both spouses to be legally married for at least two years, aged 27+, with a HS diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include housing, meals on duty, insurance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year marriage for couples.
• Both spouses age 27+.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmentally engaging and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
