Position Responsibilities

The position will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and implementing marketing strategies and programs for India for the Medication Delivery Systems in hospital and channel settings.

The person will work closely with the Sales Team and Clinical Marketing team across India at various levels, as well as with the Asia Pacific Regional Marketing teams, to ensure alignment of India's strategy with regional and worldwide strategies and to ensure that the marketing needs of India are well understood and supported.

Unique Knowledge and Skills
  • Marketing Skills: Ability to study, understand, and utilize trends and behaviors of products and customers, and to translate these insights into the development, design, and implementation of marketing programs aligned with the overall strategy and desired business outcomes.
  • Customer Orientation: A constant drive to exceed customer expectations. The individual should comprehensively understand the customer’s business objectives and underlying needs, promptly pursue grievances, and follow up to address complaints. Acts as a trusted advisor in important business decisions. Patience and perseverance are essential when dealing with customers.
  • Experience and Knowledge of Channel Marketing Programs: Proven ability to design and successfully implement channel marketing initiatives.
  • Field Sales Experience: Exposure to direct and indirect sales functions provides a better perspective of the role.
  • Rational and Logical Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze options objectively, update business awareness continuously through data collection and analysis, and arrive at data-driven estimations.
  • Self-Initiation, Planning, and Organizing: Ability to generate and pursue customer leads, organize seminars and workshops to increase product awareness, and enhance knowledge of medical systems products.
