The program provides hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to career opportunities within D.R. Horton and its affiliated functions in homebuilding and homebuying. Interns will participate in departmental rotations, training, and projects across marketing and related areas, with potential for future full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college or university and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree or coursework related to the internship area (business, marketing, finance, communications or related fields).
• Demonstrated interest in homebuilding, real estate, or related business functions.
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a professional team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, or jobsite.
• Assist with department-specific projects, research, reporting, and administrative activities.
• Learn departmental responsibilities, industry terminology, and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand company processes.
• Participate in training programs and rotations to enhance knowledge of the company and potential career paths.
• Explore career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses for future full-time roles.
• Adhere to professional conduct, ethics, and support customer experiences.
