D.R. Horton invites students to join our Marketing Internship program, offering hands-on experience across functional areas and departmental rotations.

Interns gain exposure to the homebuilding process, marketing strategies, and business operations, supporting daily tasks and strategic projects. We seeks motivated individuals who are pursuing a business/marketing degree, eager to learn, and capable of adapting to office, field, or hybrid settings.

Qualifications

• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, ask questions, and contribute in a professional team environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members, customers, and business partners
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn new software, systems, and processes as needed
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to varying work environments, including office, field, jobsite, corporate, remote, or hybrid settings, depending on the internship assignment

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, jobsite, or business function
• Assist with department-specific projects, research, reporting, administrative activities, coordination efforts, systems, processes
• Learn and apply departmental responsibilities, industry terminology, business systems, company policies, safety requirements
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand how areas support homebuilding and customer experience
• Participate in training programs, meetings, and rotations to enhance knowledge of the Company and potential career paths
• Explore career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses that may lead to future full-time employment after graduation
• Conduct all business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner that supports customers and the Company's reputation
• Ability to work overtime and travel including overnight travel as needed
