The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to career opportunities within the company and its affiliated functions. Interns are assigned to a primary department and gain experience through rotations, project work, administrative support, and site-based activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college or university and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree related to the internship area (business, marketing, communications, etc.).
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, jobsite, or business function.
• Assist with department-specific projects, research, reporting, administrative activities, coordination efforts, and other needs.
• Learn and apply departmental responsibilities, industry terminology, and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand how areas of the Company support homebuilding and customer experience.
• Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations.
• Explore future career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses.
