Interstate Batteries in Hawaii is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and distributor activities. You will drive efficiency, manage inventory levels and oversee routing, ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include steering the team toward budget goals, analyzing weekly scorecards and financials, and growing gross profit with dealers while expanding regional market coverage. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on collaboration with sales teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years proven managerial experience.
• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Computer skills including Word and Excel preferred.
• Battery or automotive systems knowledge a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Detail oriented with attention to details.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Hold team accountable to budgeted goals.
• Review weekly scorecards and monthly financials to identify variances.
• Manage accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Develop and implement AR actions for delinquent accounts.
• Manage inventory to align with selling activity.
• Oversee Route Service Excellence for efficiency.
• Grow gross profit via existing and new dealers.
• Visit and maintain relationships with key accounts.
• Collaborate with sales to win new business in the region.
