Interstate Batteries in Desoto, TX is seeking a General Market General Manager to support the manager of company owned distributorship and drive operational and financial success. The role includes overseeing inventory, AR, routing, and dealer relations while leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will develop and implement market strategies, monitor performance, and coach staff to achieve targets while ensuring compliance with safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years proven managerial experience preferred.
• Proven sales record.
• Previous experience in a Warehouse or Distribution environment preferred.
• Computer skills including Word and Excel preferred.
• Knowledge of battery or automotive systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in meeting operational and financial goals.
• Review weekly scorecards and monthly financials to identify variances and implement action plans.
• Manage AR to maintain acceptable levels and improve cash flow.
• Oversee inventory levels to align with selling activity.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and dealers; pursue new business.
• Support routing and driver program compliance and efficiency.
