Interstate Batteries is seeking an experienced operations manager to optimize daily warehouse and distribution activities in the Wisconsin region.

You will partner with the General Manager, drive financial performance, manage inventory, and develop team members through coaching and structured performance reviews.

This full-time, on-site role requires strong leadership, a track record of improving service levels, and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years managerial experience.
• Proven sales record.
• Warehouse or distribution background preferred.
• Computer skills including Word and Excel preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations and drive process improvements.
• Manage budget, goals, and scorecards with the GM.
• Review weekly scorecards and monthly financials for variances.
• Lead and develop warehouse team; provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Maintain inventory levels aligned with sales activity.
• Ensure OSHA and DOT compliance.
• Develop market strategies and strengthen key account relationships.
