Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all inventory movement in the warehouse and supervise 5–6 Warehouse Workers. You will direct receiving, putaway, picking, replenishments, packing, palletizing, and shipping, while ensuring process improvements and safety compliance.

You will develop SOPs, manage inventory quality and cycle counts, and design layouts to optimize space, productivity, and labor efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse management including inventory control procedures and accounting relationships.
• Strong leadership, motivation and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills; organization and time management under pressure.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing and distribution methods.
• Understanding of state, federal and interstate commerce regulations.
• Proficiency with computers and software; training in warehouse safety.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations including Receiving, Putaways, Picking, Replenishments, Packing, Palletizing and Shipping.
• Ensures continuous process improvement and safety compliance; designs layout to maximize space and productivity.
• Develops SOPs and performance standards; manages inventory quality and cycle counts.
