Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced operations partner to support Small Business Banking teams in the United States. You will drive risk management practices, streamline procedures, and ensure regulatory compliance across the region.

Analyze workflows, lead training sessions, and collaborate with risk, security, and leadership to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence. You will manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically four or more years of related experience.
• Small Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, or financial services experience.
• Experience influencing partners without direct authority and building cross-functional relationships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading meetings, facilitating training sessions, and presenting to stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience supporting operational risk, process improvement, and change management initiatives.
• Must comply with company policies including ethics and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational support partner for Small Business Banking teams within an assigned market or region.
• Consult with business partners on risk management practices, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Make independent, risk-based decisions regarding operational issues and escalated situations.
• Investigate and assist in resolving complex customer complaints and operational concerns.
• Partner with regional leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive consistent execution of policies and procedures.
• Develop and deliver training, onboarding support, presentations, and communication materials.
• Participate in projects involving process enhancements, system improvements, compliance initiatives, and operational workstreams.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, testing plans, and project tracking tools to support operational initiatives.
• Analyze data and prepare reports that support decision-making and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal partners, including risk, security, operations, and business leadership teams.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus, and operational excellence.
