Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, SOX, and Financial Institutions or similar field.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
• General banking operations knowledge (deposits, loans, treasury) and related regulatory obligations.
• Understanding of risk and control frameworks (COSO, Basel) and lines of defense.
• Knowledge of risk management tools and data analysis techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in developing and implementing programs to identify, measure, monitor, and control organizational risks.
• Execute and administer the Operational Loss program.
• Execute and enhance the Operational Risk Scenario Analysis Program.
• Maintain standards and procedures, provide guidance and training, and report on operational loss activity and trends.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across the first and second lines of defense to create and document scenarios for CCAR and the Capital Stress Test.
• Partner across the Lines of Defense to drive consistency, standardization, and alignment of risk programs and processes.
• Ensure governance structures, policies, and methodologies are applied uniformly in accordance with enterprise standards and risk management frameworks.
• Identify and implement enhancements to risk frameworks, reporting processes, and enabling tools.
• Leverage automation and best practices to improve efficiency, data quality, and program maturity.
• Monitor enterprise risk trends and identify emerging and evolving risks.
• Assess issues and determine potential impacts, ensuring visibility and readiness for escalation when risk levels exceed defined thresholds.
• Develop and deliver timely, accurate, and actionable risk reporting for senior management and risk governance committees.
• Provide insights into the organization’s risk profile, key trends, and emerging exposures.
