Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Market Director to drive growth in existing convenience store customer bases and secure new profitable sales. The role includes coaching and cross-training staff for future needs, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

The Market Director will lead a sales team, plan programs, monitor accounts, and collaborate with divisions to exceed budgets. Travel within assigned territory is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field from an accredited college.
• 5 years of sales experience in the retail/wholesale food sector.
• 3 years of managerial/leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintain high profile with key customers and visit on a scheduled basis.
• Communicate, resolve, and act on escalated customer issues.
• Direct new business development and motivate the sales team.
• Develop and manage budgets, revenue, and profit goals.
