Job summary

K&L Gates LLP incorporated is seeking a Market Development Specialist to support marketing and business development initiatives across offices in Charlotte, Chicago, New York and Washington, DC. The role requires coordinating client materials, proposals and events with strong writing and collaboration skills.

You will report to a Business Development Manager, interact with attorneys and staff, and drive projects from concept to delivery while contributing to firmwide programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for client-facing materials.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated service orientation.
• Mature, confident and able to interact with sophisticated clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist practice groups and lawyers with marketing, business and client development projects.
• Produce proposals, collateral, research reports and presentation materials.
• Coordinate marketing communications, events and CRM activities.
• Maintain practice group contact lists and experience lists in CRM.
• Support firm-wide marketing initiatives and collaboration with teams.
