Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of marketing, business development and/or sales experience in a professional services firm or closely related work environment.
• Knowledge of the global marketplace for professional services.
• MBA or similar graduate-level degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop and implement practice- or office-centric business development strategies and plans with leadership.
• Co-develop annual marketing and business development budgets with leadership.
• Collaborate with lawyers to execute BD activities across the firm’s marketing network.
• Prepare RFP responses, write proposals, and create presentations for new business.
• Manage the BD process and pipeline for the office or practice.
• Plan seminars, conferences and other firm-sponsored events; lead lead follow-up and opportunities for collaboration.
• Maintain knowledge of the global market for professional services and industry trends.
• Support lawyers’ BD efforts by identifying leads and sharing market intelligence.
