Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Manager in Southern Illinois to lead a team of Market Development Representatives and drive execution in on- and off-premise accounts. You will develop Impact Selling programs to hit sales objectives across your markets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, 3+ years sales experience in CPG, leadership ability, and strong data analytics skills. Travel up to 50% and local residency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry (CPG).
• Proven success in managing and leading people.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results and identify market trends.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within an assigned district.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Market Development Representatives to build brands, maximize distribution, and display brand priorities.
• Motivate the team and deliver brand and individual goals.
• Plan and execute programs for distribution, launches, displays, and promotions to optimize brand presentation.
• Achieve volume objectives for brand priorities.
• Plan and execute regular sales calls with key accounts.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for the team.
• Collaborate with internal teams to adjust brands as needed.
