Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Manager to lead a field team and drive results in on- and off-premise accounts. You will create and execute Impact Selling programs to meet sales objectives across districts.

The role requires 3+ years in CPG sales, strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and willingness to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license; flexibility for evenings and weekends is needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry (CPG).
• Leadership: Proven success in managing and leading people.
• Technical: Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results.
• Mobility: Valid driver’s license and 50% travel ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Market Development Representatives to build brands and maximize distribution.
• Motivate internal and wholesale teams to achieve brand and district goals.
• Develop and implement programs for distribution, launches, displays and promotions.
• Plan and execute regular sales calls with key accounts.
• Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to meet state priorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to stay on-brand priority plans.
