Job summary

Sazerac Company seeks a Market Development Manager to lead a field team and drive results across on- and off-premise accounts. You will develop and execute Impact Selling programs to advance key sales objectives in your markets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in CPG sales, proven leadership, and strong data analytics. Travel up to 50% and flexible hours are expected in Missouri-based district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 3+ years of professional sales experience in the CPG industry.
• Proven success in managing and leading people.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results.
• Valid driver's license and travel across district up to 50% overnight.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Location resides in or near the district and ability to cover expenses.
• Must be able to obtain a solicitor's permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Market Development Representatives to build brands, maximize distribution, solve customer challenges and maximize merchandising.
• Motivate and develop internal and wholesale teams to deliver brand and individual goals.
• Establish and implement strategic programs for distribution, launches, displays, feature ads, and promotions.
• Achieve volume objectives for the brand state priorities.
• Plan and execute regular sales calls with key accounts.
• Develop, implement and monitor KPI metrics for the team.
• Collaborate with internal teams to correct brands that are off priority plans.
